On World Mental Health Day Under the theme "Access to Mental Health Services in Disasters and Emergencies" The Matmana Mental Health Department renewed its humanitarian and professional commitment to raising awareness, providing support, and affirming that mental health care is a right from which no one is excluded, regardless of the circumstances.

This year's events featured the distinguished participation of the President of the Medical Association, Dr. Issa Al-Khashashneh, and the President of the Psychiatric Association, Dr. Alaa Al-Froukh, under the supervision of the hospital's CEO, Mr. Ahmed Al-Ahmad. This was in recognition of the importance of this day and in support of the department's mission to promote mental health at the individual and societal levels.

Dr. Nayel Al-Adwan also delivered a lecture titled "Obstacles to Accessing Mental Health in the Arab World and Proposed Solutions to This."
